Honey-Glazed Salmon
It doesn't get much easier than this recipe shared with The Scramble by early supporter Lisa Flaxman. If your kids (or anyone in your family) are dubious about salmon, this will be the recipes that turns them into believers.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 1/2 lbs. salmon fillet (use wild Alaskan salmon if possible), cut into 6 servings
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and honey over low heat until the mixture is very thin, 3 - 4 minutes.
- Place the cut salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet, skin side down.
- With a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, generously paint the butter-honey mixture over the fish.
- Bake it for 15-20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily in the thickest part. Do not flip the fish while cooking.
Notes
Scramble Flavor Booster: Mix 1 tsp. fresh minced ginger or ¼ tsp. ground ginger in with the butter and honey.
Tip: Make sure to cook the butter-honey mixture over low heat until it is very thin as it will spread more easily on the fish.
